MH LINER

A structural lining to rehabilitate deteriorated

DESCRIPTION:
    PARSON MH LINER is a spray applied, high strength, fiber-reinforced, Microsilica Mortar for use in manhole rehabilitation, or as an underlayment for PARSONPOXY SEL-80 Epoxy Coating.

SURFACE PREPARATION: Thoroughly clean and remove any loose or foreign materials including paints, dirt, oil, grease, surface coatings, laitance and any other bond-inhibiting material from surface to be coated, using minimum 3500 psi waterblast. Stop all active leaks using PARSON Hydraulic Cement or Urethane Grouts. Refer to individual product information sheets for instructions. Surface should be Saturated Surface Dry (SSD) just prior to material application. Any standing water must be removed.

MIXING: Using a slow-speed mortar mixer, add approximately 1 gallon of clean, potable water per 50 lb. bag of PARSON MH LINER. Add water to mixer and then slowly add powder. Mix thoroughly for approximately 5 minutes until a uniform consistency has been obtained.

APPLICATION: Using a low pressure spray equipment, apply mixed product on a vertical, horizontal and overhead surfaces to a thickness of up to 3 " in one application, although 1/2" - 1" is recommended. Trowel or brush to a smooth finish as soon as possible, but within two hours. If additional material is required, apply up to 2" of product within 6-8 hours, then trowel or brush to a smooth finish as soon as possible, but within two hours. Do not apply to frozen surfaces.

COVERAGE: Approximately 10 sq. feet per 50 lb. bag at a thickness of 1/2 inch.

PACKAGING: Available in 50 lb. multiwall paper bags with moisture barrier.

SHELF LIFE: PARSON MH LINER has an expected 12 month shelf life when stored at 70°F in unopened, tightly sealed bags in dry areas.
