Great for stopping infiltration through pipe penetrations and manhole joints
MIXING: Perform "cup tests" to determine proper reaction time for field conditions. Adding no PARSON GROUT ACCELERATOR MG should yield a reaction time of approximately 1 1/2 minutes. If the reaction time needs to be shortened, adding 2 1/2% PARSON GROUT ACCELERATOR MG by volume should result in a 35 second reaction time. Adding 5% by volume should yield a 20 second reaction time. Please note the actual times may vary slightly due to ambient temperature and humidity. APPLICATION: Drill several 3/8" holes that are in close proximity to the leaking area using alternating hole patterns with one hole on each side of the crack or leak. Drill holes approximately half the depth of the structure. Install one 3/8" drive-in port into each hole. Follow standard injection practices starting from the bottom port. Begin injecting PARSON MULTI GROUT using recommended pumping equipment. Care should be taken not to over inject. When grout reaction is achieved, move to the next application port. PRECAUTIONS: PARSON MULTI GROUT is moisture sensitive and should not be exposed to ambient conditions until ready to use. Completely reseal container immediately after use. Avoid contact with moisture. SAFETY: Wear protective eyewear and headgear and cover all exposed skin. Follow appropriate OSHA requirements and procedures for confined space entry. Refer to container label for First Aid procedures. See MSDS for specific instructions. STORAGE: Store in original container at room temperature. Shelf life is 1 year in original unopened containers. PACKAGING: PARSON MULTI GROUT is available in 5 gallon plastic jugs and 55 gallon metal drums. PARSON GROUT ACCELERATOR MG is available in 1 pint metal cans. |
