PARSON
PERMA SEAL

Water Reactive Grout

DESCRIPTION:
PARSON PERMA SEAL is a single component, hydrophobic polyurethane grout that can become a foam, gel or elastomeric mass, depending upon the amount of water encountered. It contains no TDI or solvents and has excellent elongation and flexibility properties. Reaction time when mixed 1:1 with water is approximately 30 seconds. PARSON PERMA SEAL can be used to stop medium volume active leaks through cracks, voids or fractures in Manholes, Pump Stations, Water and Wastewater tanks, Concrete Pipes and other Concrete and Masonry Structures.

ADVANTAGES:
  • Chemically Resistant
  • Great Adhesion
  • Stops active leaks
  • Non Hazardous
  • Environmentally Friendly
  • High Elongation
  • Excellent Flexibility
  • Easy to use
  • Gel, Foam or Mass

MIXING: PARSON PERMA SEAL may be used as a single component grout or mixed with water. At a 1:1 ratio of grout to water, the reaction time should be approximately 30 seconds and expansion time should be approximately 6 minutes. Please note the actual reaction times may vary slightly due to ambient temperature and humidity.

APPLICATION: Drill several 3/8" holes that are in close proximity to the leaking area using alternating hole patterns with one hole on each side of the crack or leak. Drill holes approximately half the depth of the structure. The distance from the crack should be equal to 1/2 the depth of the structure. Install one 3/8" drive-in port into each hole. Follow standard injection practices starting from the bottom port. Begin injecting PARSON PERMA SEAL using recommended pumping equipment. Care should be taken not to over inject. When grout rejection is achieved, move to the next application port.

PRECAUTIONS: PARSON PERMA SEAL is moisture sensitive and should not be exposed to ambient conditions until ready to use. Completely reseal container immediately after use. Avoid contact with moisture.

SAFETY: Wear protective eyewear and headgear and cover all exposed skin. Follow appropriate OSHA requirements and procedures for confined space entry. Refer to container label for First Aid procedures. See MSDS for specific instructions.

STORAGE: Store in original container at room temperature. Shelf life is 1 year in original unopened containers.

PACKAGING: PARSON PERMA SEAL is available in 10.5 oz. caulk tubes, 5 gallon plastic jugs and 55 gallon metal drums.
